The CeCe Cares Pediatric Epilepsy Foundation, Inc. (the "Foundation") was incorporated under the laws of the State of Illinois on July 13, 2010. The Foundation has been organized and operated to qualify as an organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Foundation will be applying for a formal determination of this status from the IRS within the time frame required for recognition of exemption retroactive to formation. If a determination letter is issued, which we expect to be the case, this determination will relate back to the Foundation's date of incorporation.
